Kenrokuen Garden


Kenrokuen Garden is not only a leading tourist attraction of Ishikawa Prefecture but of the entire Hokuriku region. It is one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan and one of the country’s places of special scenic beauty. A Japanese style garden with a path around a central pond and spring, that originates in the middle of the 17th century as a clan garden that was constructed under order by the Kaga Domain in the outer compound of Kanazawa Castle.
