The way to heaven

Mt. Hakusan is one of Japan’s “Three Holy Mountains” along with Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tateyama. For hundreds of years, people have come to this mountain to pray. A branch shrine of Shirayama Hime Shrine, which served as the supreme shrine for the Kaga Province, is found on the mountain top.
